Back to School Layout

CK had a challenge to use school supplies for a layout. I thought I would do the wheels on the bus, but the wheels looked more like flowers to me. So I used paper clips and adhered them to MM epoxy shapes and came up with the following layout of Logan's first day in the 3rd grade. Here is the layout:
The photo was taken in the evening so the colors are off, I will try and replace it when I get another photo taken. I used, Deja Views DP, SU cardstock, ink and rub ons, Paper Pretties Ribbon, Making memories epoxy shapes, punches, paper clips, brad and thread. I had lots of fun completing this layout. I hope you enjoy it.

Another Dragon Birthday card PWC220

Logan had another birthday party this weekend, so I put together this quick birthday card. I just love this little dragon image. I am sorry for not fixing the ribbon before taking the picture, I was in a rush to get out of the house and get to the party on time. I made this card with the Paper Pretties challenge in mind. The challenge this week was to use 3 different ribbons. Here is my card:

For this card, I used Paper Pretties Imagine image, G studios image, SU cardstock, copic markers. The DP is Kaisercraft Jungle Bug Collection and I used punch by Martha Stewart and I sprayed the paper with Sea kiss smooch and of course I added ribbon.

Once again, thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!

Revised Bath Time Layout

As all my scrapping friends know, if something is bothering me about a card or a scrapbook page, I just can't leave it alone. SOOOO, I took my bath time layout and added a few things here and there. Now I can live with it. I originally wanted big white flowers but alas, I am all out. I thought the little primas were a good substitute with glitter brads in the center. I hope you all enjoy the page!!

Bath Time Layout

This is another one of those quick layouts pages that I put together. Whenever I am rushed or don't know what to do, I revert back to making retangle or square mats and photos. I like the color and I love the Bath Time Cooper which goes great with the photos. I still have a lot of work to do on this page but I wanted to meet the Paper Pretties deadline. The Challenge this week was to use either brads or eyelets.

Here is my page:

And here is a close up of bath time cooper:

Bath Time Cooper is a digi, this was my first time using a digital stamp and it worked great, once I resized the image and printed it, I heated it with my heat gun and the ink did not bleed. I colored the image using copic markers and clear embossed all the bubbles and water. This little guy reminds me so much of Logan that I just had to have it. I absolutely love it. When I am satisfied with this layout, I will post it again. Thanks for coming by and I hope you all have a great week.

Garden Fairy Katie Card PWC 117

This week's challenge included a sketch by Frances. I just realized, card making is so much easier if you follow a sketch. Since I was home today, I decided to put all chores aside and work on this card until Logan got off the bus. So without further ado, here is the sketch.

Cute sketch, right. Here is my card:

As always the card look better in real life. I used Paper pretties Garden Fairy Katie, Designer paper is Basic Grey Origins, Martha Stewart's punch, glitter, textured cardstock, flowers, Mango pearls, shear ribbon from Joanne's and colored everything with copic markers except for the doilie, I used my SU ink apricot appeal and used a mix of embossing powder and glitter to give it some shine.

With this week's challenge you have a chance to win Paper Pretties set "Simply Special". Come on get your paper and stamps out and make a card...who doesn't need a card. As always, thanks for stopping by!!!

I am also adding this card to the Oh, Alice! challenge. I just know I won't have enough to time to finish a second card.

Double Gate Fold

I tried this double gate fold card for a friends birthday. I used stampin up 12x12 cardstock sheet of paper for the base. You can also use a...
